Competence development within healthcare

The Birgit Rausing Centre for Medical Humanities is convinced that medical humanities are crucial for people working in healthcare today. This is reflected, among other things, in our various research projects and also in the close collaboration we have with, above all, Region Skåne, the joint public health services in Skåne (Scania).

We have a unique opportunity to contribute to high quality in training efforts for professionals, both by having all the relevant research literally at our doorstep, and by our staff work in or very closely with healthcare organisations.

"Ethics, Diversity and Gender Equality" is a course for resident physicians that has been developed at the Birgit Rausing Centre for Medical Humanities. This course is now open for registration within Region Skåne, the joint public health services in Skåne (Scania)
